One of the best features is Observatory Park, which the area is named after. It is a beautiful open space filled with trees, playgrounds, baseball fields, and tennis and soccer courts. The Chamberlin Observatory is housed in the park and is an astronomical observatory owned and operated by Denver University. The observatory was named after Humphrey B Chamberlin, who was a Denver Real Estate mogul who donated $50,000 in 1888 to build and equip the facility.
